If you have the money you can also go with HKS, GReddy, Blitz or APEX'i systems which have alot of R&D put into them to extract as much air as possible. Plus you get the prestige factor when popping your hood. Nice to see high end parts on a car than really bad cheap pieces. |

If you live somewhere that does emissions testing, you may need to buy an intake that is CARB certified. If it were me, I'd go short ram...or get the Comptech Icebox, with the cold air tube...best of both worlds.

i'm with them cheaper isnt always better, paper filters suck big ones. I had an aem cold air on my build before i went turbo, i loved that thing, i'd deff recommend an aem shrot ram or cold air for your car

i read somewhere else in here that the V2 isnt worth the extra money. 2.1 HP isnt worth 100 bucks. true? is it any safer or more productive for your engine? which brings me to my next question, a cold air intake wont affect engine reliability at all would it? i just got an 02 accord EX-V6 (coupe) and im not looking to do really anything to it cosmetically (excpet some JDM black headlights) but i am planning on an AEM V2 and i was also looking at a Greddy EVO 2 exhaust system. so is the V2 worth it or just go with the older model AEM CAI?? also, a bit out of place...but i want an exhaust system the performs well, but doesnt make a shitload of noice. i want one as quiet and smooth as possible. any suggestions for that? i think i heard HKS makes quieter exhaust systems but i suppose each model for each brand is different....
