So I went to lift my car up and I found out my exhaust was rusted threw and broke off from the cat the whole way back. I got a new cat and stock piping I have to go pick it up tomorrow, just wondering if everything is supposed to bolt together or will there be some welding? The pipe broke right after the cat but the cat was damaged too. So right now I'm driving around with headers, half of the cat and then nothing after that. How long do you think it will take to put everything back on? Is there anything I should know about when I put this back on?

As long as you bought the correct exhaust and cat, youll be fine. that rust will be fun to deal with though when you unbolt the cat from the header

I had a similar situation earlier this year on the project car I bought for my son. Exhaust pipe rusted through at the back of the cat. Alot of WD-40 and an impact wrench was all I needed to remove the 14 yr old cat from the downpipe. Installation of new exhaust took me longer that most (I assume) as I was instructing my son on how to do it. Total project time was under two hours start to finish.

We went with a magnaflow high flow cat and an Apexi WSII exhaust - Everything bolted right in although the exhaust was for the coupe (we have a sedan) and had to flip the cat upside down for better alignment of the exhaust.

Best of Luck with your project!
