hi i just got my hands on a spoon chip it was free i dont know any thing about them or how to install it if you have any info ...

yep..and raise the rev limiter, to way over what your toothpick d series rods can take...and to top it all off....your car is by no means a spoon spec car...Just throw it away...or use it as a paper weight...thats about what its good for.

I DONT HAVE A D SERIES MY MOTOR IS JDM B16 WITH A P30 ECU
THEY SAY IT WILL TAKE MY SPEED LIMITER OUT SO ITS NOT WORTH THE HASLE

Is it one of those fakey Spoon chips and not the ECU itself??? If so, toss it, may do more harm that good.

It will take your REV limiter out.

oops....still more than your b16 can handle...it removes both speed limiter and rev limiter...you dont need it...trust me.

If all you got is the chip, you still need some other things (IC, dip socket, resistor, and some caps) to install it. It will have a richer fuel map, different vtec engagement, and much more advanced ignition maps. It is definitly not really worth it since it was designed for a setup with higher compression, different cams, and other things your setup doesn't have.

i got it for free my friend got hes hand on a mugen ecu and gave me the chip
all he said put it on
my engine is stock
so i guess i have a long ways to go
so if i wanted my speed limiter off how can i do that
thanks how much can i sell the chip for sence i cant use it
