Have a problem Ijust switched out my old headers for DC Sports 4-2-1 Headers with a high flow cat. The gasket from the header to the cat seems to be leaking and sound like crap. Its a spitting kind of sound my friend said it sounds like there a piece of paper flapping in there. I was wondering if anyone has any idea on what the problem is and how to fix it. I tryed to get a new gasket and I tried tightening it really tight but it doesn't seem to work. Should I put some sort of sealent on it or something?

is this a perment setup? if so you can go to an exhaust shop and have them weld that joint up. if not you can buy a muffler repair kit. fill in the joint with the putty then wrap it in the mesh tape, it'll look like crap but will seal the joint and allow you to remove the joint later on. hope that helped some

Make sure the gasket is on correctly, and make sure that the header properly lines up with the cat. You may have to loosen the header bolts on the head before you tighten the bolts by the cat.
