Hello all!.....after a long while of ignorance, I am finally here at civicland....some of you might know the name...used to hang around hondaswap when it was fresh and new(now over population has made everyone an expert) I also help out when I can over at dseries.org(awesome sight for singlecammers) I've been playing with Hondas,Nissans, and Mazda wankels since the late 80's. Currently I drive a EG8 (95 civic sedan) with a boosted D15b7 and Auto tranny. After a few trials and tribulations along the way, I finally found a combination that worked....for awhile anyway. recently I have developed a main bearing knock..
15psi is about as high as u can go I guess. So, I have removed the turbo for now to help get a few more miles out of it. I actually thoought the tranny would go b-4 the block...after all the block is built with forged rods(eagle)and pistons(TRW). the block has been pinned to control movement. head is stock but "cleaned up" b7, turbo is of my own hybrid...a 14g with a ported 6cm turbine housing(no its not a 14b,14g compressor moves more volume of air)only tranny mod is a Level10.com torque converter in a bone stock ex D16Z6 auto tranny. never put on the rollers but my Mr Dyno accelerometer says 190-200hp range(well not now anyway) my experience with Hondas is from ew3/4 on up. My plans are to swap to B18b w/auto tranny(wife can't drive stick) swapping to a 7cm housing on turbo and boosting the B. staying from Vtec heads for now b/c auto trannys don't run high enough to take full advantage of vtec. i usually have spares lying around if someone is in need...finishing a z6 head soon...was gonna put on the B7...but since the main started knocking...so when I'm done I'm gonna list it, have other things as well...injectors(450cc&345cc) ecu's(pg7's,pm6,pr4's) so if interested email or pm me

Hey, Welcome to Civicland, sounds like you got quite a bit of experience with swaps/turbo's. Always good to have those kind of experienced people around.
Here's a question for ya.. what kind of fuel management did you use? We have a user here, Biocac, who is looking into the many options out there... hondata, etc. etc.
