I can't for the life of me find a replacement bulb for these headlights. It appears that the bulbs are proprietary which sucks ass, and I'm not having any luck finding the H3 LOW BEAM replacement. I see H4...and then there is one light linked from where I found this forum that has H4 but they are some 3rd party brand...which mixed with my 3rd party brand headlamps, would make the chances of these fitting(in my mind)pretty much nil. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement bulb(s) for this fixture? I'm unfortunately running out of time since I received a citation for it and I've got like a week to get it replaced, blah blah. Thanks for any and all help. |

Those arent H1 bulbs?? You can find them on ebay just type in H3 Bulbs?!?! I found my H1 HID wannabes for only $18 If you want to keep the bulbs rather than throwing your old ones back in. Get MTEC HID bulbs. Cheaper than Piaa and they are 100w> producing 150w. Mine are bright as hell and they are 4x Hyper whites.

Good luck with them.
Scrap those EL Cheapo "JDM "projectors. Stick with OEM or get a retrofit HID kit.Your just wasting money with projectors and there bulbs. |

I'm still waiting for them to arrive. I've actually been to a couple of brick and mortar stores and they've had the H3 bulbs that match exactly what the aftermarket lights use...
But neither worked. They were both(just like the original bulb) "H3 v12 55w"...but to no avail. So I'm actually really skeptical about these lights. Though the guy who I bought them from said I needed the H4's. Do you guys know if this is true? I thought the low beam(or regular beam)was the H3 bulb. The bulb that is out is the middle light(the one with the cool eyeball dome casing) which is the actual lowbeam. I thought I had found the culprit when I checked the left headlight fuse and it was burnt. What I later found out was that only fixed the high beam and not the lowbeam...which leads me to believe that there is something IN the actual headlamp casing that is malfunctioning. Suckass since you have to take the bumper off on my car to get to it...grrr. Oh well. Guess I'll have to wait n see. ![]() |
