Hello everyone in civicland.
I'm new here. I drive an '01 ES1
I haven't had many mods to it.
But it looks good for what I have done.
I recently changed the gauge lighting form green to red,
Here's my Q.. Every gauge was working fine until about friday.
The speedometer needle stopped working.
I've tried several times to fix it but no avail.
It just won't move anymore. I don't know what to do now.

Is this the only thing to quite working? Are your dashlights, dome lights, stereo, etc working?

hmmmm I was thinking fuse but fuses contol all those guages in your bezel. When you put everything back after changing it were you rough at all with the wiring back there? If you dont know EXACLY what your doing you could have screwed something up w/o realizing it. I'd go back and check on my work to be on the safe side if you changed the color.

ES1...what year is that? I'm thinking its the 2003+ if so, you may need a new gauge cluster. I'd say take it to the dealer and take advantage of any warantee you may have left.

On second though go get you VSS checked too...(Vehicle Speed Sensor). It may have crapped out.

Well if you have a warrenty on the car, By tampering with it you might have Voided that out now. Id still do what he said and take it to the dealer regardless so you can define whats wrong.

Did you do a layover, or did you change the lights?

If you take it to the dealer make sure to take off whatever you did.
