right on brother! thats what i was thinkin, like the neuspeed spring / kyb agx combo, any ideas for something similar (not big into coilovers, not racing, i'd prob. f- them all up trying to drop/ raise the car anyhow)

yeah struts/springs/sway bars/bushings/tie bars/tires and youll notice a huge handling increase.

Most definately tires man, After all my suspension work being done and having cheapie tires that came with my wheels, I feel no difference. Im going for yoko's when these fuckers wear..

you need sway bars too, remember those are like the main ingredient.

Do I need the whole ASR setup, or could I use my rear lower tie bar still?

just get the ASR setup, its a reinforcement/tie bar setup, just sell your rear lower tie bar and use that money towards an ASR kit
