Welcome back.
Don't mess with Texas!
I thought that Texas was a little bit too hot, but then again I am used to the cold Ohio winters.

ah, range of temps in NE Texas isn't that bad. 30 degrees to 100 degrees, i'm sure ohio is like 10 degrees to 95 degrees.

It is not the heat so much as the humidity. :P
You are correct about the average temperature of Ohio, but it is definitely not as humid here as it is in Texas. Plus I live close to the lake, so we get some nasty lake affect snow. Not fun.
