I have a 91 crx si. my si motor blew up so i swapped it for a zc becasue at the time i just didn't feel confident enough to do anything more. at the moment i have a zc with a si tranny. ngk iridium plugs, ngk plug wires, stock cap/rotor,msd SCI-L ignition box. the zc internals are stock. I'm running an si tranny because the two dx tranny's didn't last long. when the second went it took the clutch with it due an oil leak from the tranny. so i replaced it with a fidanza flywheel and exidy clutch. im running a short ram with a k&n filter, chikara header, ebay straight through cat, and some home brew catback that was on the car when i bought it.
i have a zdyne conversion ecu. it kinda acts like it is over fueling at idle. it drops to like 550 rpms at times. I have pulled the plugs and found white electrodes. from what i understand this means it is running lean. I have checked the temps on the exhuast. the 4th cylinder is running about 50-80 F colder then the rest. and my number one cylinder is running about 20-30 F colder. it was worse when i was running an integra computer. It would bog alot more on take off. Also i keep getting an O2 sensor code. what are the common fixes for this. Also i have bought a two step module to hook up to use as a launch rpm controller. where would i wire into the clutch or should a use a button some where to control that? Also i have done some fuel injector research and found that the 88-89 integra (D16a1) has the same (at least aftermarket part number) as the Si (D16a6?) are the Si the same as the zc injectors? will they work or work good with the zc. i know the computer will recognize them seeing as the computer runs similar inj. on the integra. but will this help my O2 problem and over fueling with the integra computer? please please please help and post some reply's even to tell me you dont know just let me know some one else read this thing. I posted a similar post in another thread and got no replys. thanks.

Is NOS good? is a turbo or a supercharger better. should i get a 5" tip or 6" exhaust tip?
these questions are a little more controversial or opinion based. so maybe i'll get a maybe.

Even though your plugs are white, that doesn't mean you are running lean throughout the entire RPM band. You could be running rich at idle, and lean under load, producing the white electrodes. What is your ignition timing at? I don't know much about the Zdyne ECU, but if you are bogging down low, it seems like you're running rich...and then lean in the higher RPM.

As for the O2 sensor code, have you replaced the sensor with a known good one? Checked the wiring? It's got to be one of those two, or possibly something with the ECU itself.

For the launch controller, most people use a button to engage it.
