sup guys as you know im new to the club.i just recently bought a 95 civic dx coupe 1.6L sohc non vtec.....just to show u what im dealing with. im all stock i think im about to get an apexi n1 muffler http://www.eautoworks.com/html/productsord...&source=froogle ...if you want to take a look besides that i don't think im going to do that much until about a year because im only 15 and turn 16 aug 1----next year i think i might put a system in my car(any suggestions what to go with) and just save my money up for a 95 vtec head and a 96-00 trany(shorter gears and it can handle more abuse on ur car)

whats up meng.. welcome to the site.. I dont think any of the 92-00 trannys really "handle abuse" , maybe more so if your changing the tranny fluid more often etc.. but a system would be cool, maybe start off with a nice headunit and speakers.. then subs if thats what you dig. Take my advice and dont get anything really heavy as there would be more useless weight in your trunk that would wiegh you down a bit.. Ive been there
Now i dont have a trunk lol.. |

yea def dont just get a muffler, go full cat back. ur gonna need a new full cat back exhaust anyway. u can prolly find the cat back n1 for about 450 online with free shipping. as for just gettin the muffler ur gonna see no power gains, just some noise, and its gonna be crappy noise at that. just go cat back man. but welcome to the site man, stick around!!!

The 96-00 Civic Ex tranny is not all that different from the 92-95 Ex/Si tranny.I beleive they have the same gear ratio,if not they are not that much different. So in theory you could look for a 92-95 Ex/Si tranny too. |
