Ok so I got bored and began redoing some excuse for a website that I have...I want to do an online portfolio(Couldnt pick a better time than the begining of finals week he he) but I want something a bit different than your average portfolio website, as if there is such a thing as an innovative portfolio website anymore.

So here's the question:
What resolution does everyone have their monitor set at? I, for one have it at 1024x768 but that's only because I need all the space I can get using studio mx software(if anyone uses flash or dreamweaver they know what I mean, it just feels crammed!)

I usually design for 640x480 or at most by 800x600, but I'm just curious as to what rez. people use.

Ive got mine at 1600x1200 as well. i dont see why youd need to go any higher. On my 17 incher... i have yet to come across a website or program that wont fit in the window. 99% of the time.. if got plenty of extra space on the sides.. of just blank window/screen. I only scroll up and down.. none of that annoying left to right ish.
