Well finally back online. 3 nights ago our modem took a dive at home and so did the hub we were using. So I sacrificed my Xbox Linksys workgroup switch to get back online and had to wait for comcast to bring the new modem. Got to admit, I like the switch better cause it runs in full duplex mode and sends receives packets much faster.

yeah dude well try this....i talked my mom into getting cable dsl at her house (so i didnt have to pay!) she ended up getting it, we had it for like 5 months, and yesterday she had it removed cause "it was $72/mo". Dude my parents live in a $1.4 million dollar house and they cant afford $72/mo. I am heated!

haha, your mom is nuts. tell her to get a cable modem for like $40/month.

i gave my mom some grief a couple weeks ago over the same type stuff. she was having her kitchen/dining room faux painted and decided she was going to strip the wallpaper and do some prep work herself. so she spent 30+ hours of her time to save $250 dollars on a $3500 job. if she would have just worked 6 hours of overtime at her desk job she would have made that same $250.
