they will get you. every trransaction is recorded and they will realize the wrong bill was in the machine. plus everything is video taped. at least in the states, they'd automatically debit your account.

Yeh i understand thats how the economy gets stronger but when my bank is making ?7.15 bn in profit for this year and not even so much as reducing the interest rates on loans or increasing them on savings etc it just seems a little unfair!

I wont have any problem with giving the money back to them im just gonna wait till they ask for it!

haha no i checked my balance after the first transaction and made sure, only debited for the 20
I jus feel sorry for the poor bastards who have spent the money already when teh bank recall it!

Im not sure that all ATM's have the video cameras over here, the money is back in the account anyways so if they want it they can get it back!

Ill keep you all updated as to what happens next!

believe it or not i've had this happen to me. I called the bank to check the Amount of cash in my account and it was over stated by $1400, I rushed to the bank and took it all out. Next thing i know i got a letter in the mail saying the bank made a mistake and wanted $800 bucks back. I didn't tell them that the mistake was for $1400 so i got a free $600. This was about 2 years ago.
