Ok I'm Really F'in Pissed.

Ok many of you know that I bought Rotas off of here. From the looks of things it looked like I was buying 4 rims, 1 was in pretty bad shape for only 250.00 not bad right? Well today I was informed that I just wasted 250.00, well 240.00 since the guy didnt have any change (which was a nice gesture). But back to the point. I find tires for the remaining 3 rims. and pay 16.95 per rim to get them mounted...upon recieving my 3 rims back the guy at the tire shop told me the news.

"All of your rims are bent, 1 is drivable" First thing that ran through my head was nahh hes gotta be overdramatizing. This was until I went to walmart and bought a jack and put the wheels on. the shit wobbles more than rosie odonnel's chin at a free buffet.

I'm fucking pissed off, I want my money back. If the dude thinks i'm lying then he can have the rims AND the tires in exchange for my money. i wont even ask for the money I spend mounting and balancing. This has really fucked up my day.

The fucking kicker is that I bought a new rim and its on the way cause I assumed that the 3 other rims were drivable.


What do you all suggest I do about this?? Please fill me in cause I dont want a fight or anything, just restitution so I can go buy brand new rims.

have you contacted the seller? if not, call his ass up, and try and work something out.

that really sucks. i'd be friggin pissed too if i was you. thats shitty!

Well hes a member of this board, and he seems like a nice guy, i guess he just didnt know that they were that messed up, I mean I hope I can just get my money back, I'm willing to trade him the money I paid him for the rims AND the tires.

I dont know his number, and he has an away messge on AIM I guess i'll try AIM later before I start overreacting.

From my understanding he bought them used and never used them. So he had no idea that they were bent. Either way, you should contact him and work things out personally before making things public on the board.

yea, i caught him on aim, its just a misunderstanding, I was just afraind I was gonna get ripped off, and overreacted, we'll work things out.

you should have just bought a brand new set of them for $400.

even if three of the wheels had been perfect physical shape. those busted looking wheels weren't worth $80 a piece when you can buy new ones for $100 a piece or cheaper.

thumbs down to the buyer for not checking them out BEFORE you bought them, thumbs down to the seller for not encouraging the buyer to have them checked out (if that was the case).
