For real the only 3 series worth getting is a 330cic.

In jersey you can't get a BMW from a BMW dealer if you have lower then a 725 credit score, not even with 10K down a a great co-buyer, Not co-signer a co-Buyer.Plus for 20 grand i would not be buying a car with almost 60,ooo miles on it.

gota start somewhere...and who said i didnt have a co-signer?? i know how it goes in Jersey i lived there too!! besides by the time i am able to work my credit up, etc. i would probably be able to afford something better than a used one, but i like it, if i could id get something like a 97-00 M3...

LOL yeah i do...Don't forget though a lot of the BMW's are made coupe style and speaking from experience having a coupe and baby seat is a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE pain, i have a civic now and i hve to move my seat the 2 inches that it goes and cram myself in there to put my daughter in ive bumped my head so many times i have a permanently raised part on my head LOL theres that and since coupes are made smaller in the backseat, she gets car sick (just like i do) in the back seat, so i duno its either a 4door bimmer or a 4 door something else lol...

jenn don't let a civic driver tell you a 3 series isn't worth it.

the bmw 3 series has made car & driver's 10 best list for 13 years in a row, more than another car ever made. they are luxury cars that are a blast to drive.

my reasons for getting a 3.
- e46 styling
- great handling
- torquey motor
- rwd
- luxurious interior
- great sound system
- fair price

the only difference in the e46 between each model is the power the motor makes. for me it wasn't worth and extra $10,000 for 50 hp and 30 lb.-ft of tq by getting the 330ci. if it some point you want that extra power, boost it and you be as quick as an m3 for about $20,000 less.

i could afford a lot more car than i own but i'm not tying up $50,000 in something that depreciates as fast as a car.

here are a few pics of my e46 i got in january.

btw, i can get you a much better price on a 3 series if you get serious and want to buy one.
