Well the supra project is slowing to a crawl with parts on backorder and prepairing for an engine rebuild.
Thinking about starting another side project on a classic mini cooper. I found a 86 shell that needs some love. Plan to go look at here soon and maybe into fixing it up. And of course in the final stage swapin a B-series motor into it.. Dunno yet.. Type r, b20, I have a while to decide that. I love the classic mini's looks. seems like a fun project to keep me busy thought? ideas?

It's funny you bring this up,In the new Sport Compact Car this month they have a story about a classic mini cooper ('67,I think?)with a b18c5 engine swap.
They also have a mid VW Golf in there with a Caddy Northstar Swap also. |

I like them.. Really thinking more of making it a track car.. but the honda engine would knock me out of every class I can think of.. I dunno.. running the supra at summit point next month.. just would really hate to mess it up running it at the track with other cars.

oh i see your point now. so make the supra your fun/daily driver, and get the cooper so youre not afraid of ruining it running with other cars. i would worry about that too man, especially seeing all the work youve put into it.

The Honda Mini conversions are totally badass. If you can run it RWD, that would be awesome. Most of the installs I've seen just use a different cradle up front and still spin the front wheels, but there are a few that put the engine in the back. Go for that.
