i also figured since they have a lot more subscribers than sirius they might have a better chance of staying in business.
true.
nice install BTW did you do that aaron?[/b]
nope. i got it done at car toys a few days after i got my car. it didn't cost much more and i was in a hurry for it. i'd rather give them $30-40 than spend my afternoon taking my car apart on a parking lot in january.

Pioneer decks that are XM ready require a tuner.

Nice install Comutek I'm considering doing the same thing with a Sirius tuner. It fits in the same location on my 6. Make that ashtray usefull for us non smokers.

whether i get xm or sirius i'm just going with plug and play unit. it's cheaper andi really don't want to replace my stock radio.

if i go with sirius, i would probably go with thejvc complete kit for only a hundred bucks

if i go with xm i'd go with delphi
one of my friends has the delphi and she likes it. although i'm goning to need the car kit and modulator since i don't have a tape player.

Yeah seriously though i think digital music is good but you dint get a good reception unless the antenae is on top or your car. I really wasnt impressed by it though. Alot of stations played basically nothing in the genre of music i like. But hey it may be worth it to everyone else. Oh and feardagreencivic on hondaswap.

If you want portable in Sirius, go with the Sportster. It will definitly be the greatest and latest one for Sirius. I do have the Delphi in my Ranger and my shop at home and it is great.

As far as Murrat's question, Pioneer discontinued the XM tuner because it is going to be replaced by the XM Direct which sells for $99 for the tuner, Pioneer adapter, and the antenna. They should be shipping right about now.

And XM does still have a ton more subscribers at 2.5 million. Sirius is only at 600,000.
