you need to turn off the taskbar option in each of those programs running .. some of them maybe self contained to start on start up and run down there.. the others you will find in your startup folder from Start > Programs > Start Up

In the future, go to my computer, go to control panel, and click on add/remove programs. Click on the program you don't want, and click "remove".

If you are talking about your system tray you can download a product called "startup control panel" from download.com that gives you total control over what applications load there.
http://www.download.com/Startup-Control-Pa...tml?tag=lst-0-1 Then go to your control panel and double click the "Startup" icon and you can remove what loads in your system tray from there. This is an awesome little app to have on your machine. Windows should incorporate this in their next OS. |
