Seriously, I dont know why honda never puts any kinda antiseize on thier suspension bolts or uses a different coating on thier bolts.
I was working on murats car last night and I got one side of the rear suspension on and even the bitch bolt on that side was a bitch to get out... but it finally came out with some elbow grease. So i go to get the other side, the bolt is barely budging, trying to tighten it and loosen hoping maybe it will come out like the other side, it fucking strips. Bitch, so we think lets go to sears and get some bolt extractors, broke 2 of those things. Nothing ever goes easy I swear to god. Especially on hondas. ![]()

werd, but if honda actually put some engineering into thier cars, like geee someone might wanna change out thier struts maybe for preventive maintaince purposes or if it got damaged, lets make these bolts with a special coating so they dont seize up in the threads.

Hey, watch the racial comments!
I've never had difficulty taking out any of the suspension bolts on my cars. |

> also a victim of that piece of shit bolt, Now rolling on homade setup with because I couldnt get my bushing all the way out. The metal casing is rusted into the control arm.
So now....I have to buy all four new struts because we cut the nuts off the stock ones in the rear, replace both control arms because they are both rusted to shit... ON TOP OF ALL THIS, I have ABS which is gonna make it extra difficult and The part that disables the other end of the control arm closer to the wheel.. the bolt snapped so Im gonna have to pay out the ass to do all of this.I guess I have to, Its my suspension. So....Im rolling homemade for at least 3 more months till i can afford all my parts and the labor thats gonna really kick my ass! |
