all after getting rear ended today. wtf have i done to deserve this karma???

either way The point of this thread is to ask if i am gonna face any jail time for this...I have like no points on myliscence and the last moving violation i got was back in 2002. Shitty part is i gotta go to court 2 times and its 100+ miles away.

I dont know about VA, Here in Cali 100+ is reckless driging..and when your busted for that, ur car is impounded and your arrested.

90 isnt recless driving, it is stupidity you fool!! but if you didnt get arrested and your car impounded it shouldnt have been written up like that..

well im not even gonna sugar coat it that really sucks man and im really sorry that ur gettin screwed. i think for the tag display u might be able to get out of that one. the speed ur fucked if the cop goes to the court date cuz he paced u and that means he positive, and having no inspection does not carry any points its just a fine. i think like 125 in jersey not sure about va. as for the speeding violation ur 25 over so that probly gonna run ya 500 bucks plus and 4 plus points. sorry man, i think ur gonna need some help from a cop buddy or something.

i think get a lawyer and go.. you wont get jail time on the first offense.. the lawyer will get the little stuff droped and the big one reduced. worth the 300 bucks you'll spend on him

I know this doesnt help but man im sorry, I couldnt feel any more worse for you even though it wont help your case. Like he said the other 2 said.. The one they are really gonna try and stick you with is speeding.

I say plead no contest.. Find you guilty.. pay the fine they probably cut in half and go to school to remove the point. Might not all be possible w/o a lawyer though.

that blows man im sorry to say u seem pretty fucked over. but hey could be worse. my last court date i met this chick who had 6 or 7 speeding tickets and fucking missed some court summons. the judge raped her... other than that i feel bad for u tickets suck.....

do you own a civic?? its kinda easy to get my car up to and over 100 for some reason.

Yea i'm gonna say i was doing 80 (65 speed limit + 20 miles over = 85) and try to just get off with speeding and a huge fine. The last time I got a ticket was back in March of 03 and i've been law obiding ever since. I shouldnt have any more than like 3 points on my liscence right now either.... I dont think jail and/or suspension would be topic of conversation would it?
