well i found out the other day that NJ Manufacturers would no longer insure me and that i would have to go through NJ Re-insurers if i wanted to get the truck and insure it through them. they quoted me at 7,500 bucks. WTF!!! So i went to gieco and checked them out. They are much more reasonable and offer up at 4,000 bucks a year. This is all due to my accident!! So my question is do you guys have any recommendations on insurance companies that you like and get good rates from?

might be a good idea.

i have safeco, i'm 22 w/ a clean record, i pay $100/month on my bmw. now, i've heard safeco's rates are "high" but they have good payout if you have to file a claim (which is true, like when my car was stolen).

yea i think im gonna have to, lol. i pay 2100 a year right now one my rents plan as a cosigner. to get my own its gonna double that. but ya know what i made my bed and now i gotta sleep in it. its all good tho, as long as i can get full coverage for 4k a year i should be able to afford that.

damn you pay less for three rides than i do for one. infact you pay half of what i pay. fucking jersey!!! although i have heard that there is going to be some kind of crackdown on the insurance prices in jersey soon.

Do you claim the beater as your primary daily driver car, and the civic and jeep as secondary car. I know of people that threw a old POS as their workcar and the Camaro SS as the weekend car and cut his insurance in half.

geico sucks. they quoted me twice what i am paying now. try NJ CURE. that's who i have and they were the cheapest quote i got from the whole 4 or so providers in jersey. oh and i also had an accident almost 4 years ago that apprently is still screwing me.
