Crazy Friday Night

i went down to some friends' college (i used to go there but not anymore) for a birthday party. the party was held at an apartment off-campus. so me and the guys pick up some beer, and then head down to the party and get there around 9. everything's going great for a while...everyone's having a good time and of course drinking.

at around midnight or so my buddy robbie and i were on the back patio smoking cigs and mingling with a few ladies, and the way their place is it's the very last apartment on the end of the building. so robbie walks around the side of the building to go take a piss, and a couple seconds later a friend opens the door and says there's a cop out front and we should come inside. literally 5 seconds later a cop walks around the side of the building and stands right next to me. now...at this point i was just starting to feel good from the beer but i sure as hell sobered up when i saw the cop.

so there we are...my 19 year old self and three chicks that are also underage holding beers. first he asked us if we lived there, then if we knew who did live there. then he asked how old we are, had we been drinking, etc. we were all honest and admitted to being underage, so he said alright well since you're honest ya'll can go. then he walks back around the building. we walk inside to see what all's going on, and turns out the cops had already been let in and were in the house.

to make the rest of the story short, my other friend that was the DD and i walked outside to talk to the cops about leaving and one of the cops starts getting my information and writing me a ticket. then the cop that had talked to me out back took him aside, and he just ended up writing me a warning. then we got our other two friends from inside, went and found robbie, and left. apparently robbie had walked right by the cop. the cop asked if he lived there, robbie said no, and he kept walking and went and hid behind another building because he was pretty far gone.

really the only bad thing that happened because of this is that the people that lived at this apartment are more than likely getting evicted because this is their third warning. but i guess that's what you get when you already have two and you decide to throw another big party.

cliffs: went to a party at some friends' college, got busted by the popo, i ended up getting away with only a warning for underage drinking.
