Ok people, my mom is looking at the 05 EX special edition. Her Audi is a piece of shit and constantly in the shop...has oil leaks everywhere you can think of. She has had accords in the past, and wants to go back to honda...but doesn't like the new accords..doesn't want to spend what a TSX costs...and she really likes the Civic EX Special Edition. Here's my question: the seats were leather, and had "Special Edition" embroidered in them. Looking on Edmunds.com and the Honda website, I didn't see anything about leather interior from the factory, or as an option. Is it something the dealer had done as an extra feature to help sell it? I'm trying to figure out what kind of offer they should make. Invoice on the special edition is $16778, but I think the dealer was asking around $20k for the one with the special seats.
Thanks. ![]() |

No, the regular special editions are comparably priced to the EX...they wanted an extra 2 grand just for the seats. Not all of the special editions come with those seats, it's dealer added.
