After 15 years of being brain dead, I think it was about time for her to pass on.

I've tried to steer clear about talking about this. I believe that it was for everyones best intrest including hers to have the tube removed. I mean think about her quality of life. Knowing that she would never be able to function on her own again , Or even be able to do simple self tasks and lack of quality communtication leads me to beleieve that she is happy that her 10 plus years of pain and suffering are now over. now she can finally rest in peace.

i'm staying clear too.. too many ethics morals and religion tied in. I wouldnt want to live that way. And if she knew any better if i were her, i'd be pissed at the parents for trying to drag this out.

Im not steering clear, i think #1 it was fucked up for her parents to let her live for 15 years on a feeding tube. Im upset they took her off and just let her die on her own without food or water. But lets face it, is it really worth keeping someone around if they cant even function. I know there is a very strong connection with parents and children, but come on now. If she had a chance to live a normal life again then I would have seen some justice in keeping her alive. But she was a freakin vegtable for christ sake.

She was brain dead for fifteen years. I don't think she was going to get better...and some people just don't know how to let go.
