i'll have one eventually, but not anytime soon. a few of my friends are planning to get bikes in the next couple months.

but yeah the R1 is badass. if i was getting a bike i'd get an R6...that'd be plenty enough for me.

eh.... I had a Midibike.. I got the lil fucker to about 45mph. Tryed to move on to getting a Honda CBR to start with, but It didnt really work out that way.

I came back to cars, I think reality hit me as to the risk of ending up in a body bag. Im still to young to separate right from wrong "when riding" so im not taking my chances.

I got my whole life ahead of me, maybe in about 10-15 years.

yeah a couple of my buddies are doin the whole bike training and license thing, and one of them is planning on getting a gsxr 750. but i know what u mean about the R6, that shits plenty fast.

I had no idea how well balanced street bikes were either, i thougth they would be tippy like mountain bikes. but that doesnt make any sense! I saw a video of a bike headin down the street riderless for a few blocks b4 it finally tipped over. the retard fell off the back somehow, but the bike kept goin.

Dough: you're right...if you can't control your temptation to drive crazy on a bike then you definitely shouldn't have one, and that of course goes for everyone. i consider myself somewhat experienced b/c i started riding dirt bikes when i was 5. i know street bikes are totally different but i've always heard it's good to start out on dirt. it'll be a couple years at least before i'd think about gettin a bike though.

pic isn't showing up but i know the bike you're talking about. it can't be driven to it's full potential b/c it can go so fast that a person can't physically stay on the bike. in other words the wind will knock their ass off.

holy shit, what kind of speed would it take to do this, of course with the right aerodynamics and all..?
