Our new user-friendly hands-free light switch and dimmer easily replaces any single "dumb" light switch. This ultra-convenient appliance saves energy, helps keep walls cleaner (it's hands-free!), improves safety in home or office, and has a cool blue LCD menu for foolproof operation. It's great for rooms where your hands are full when you enter (kitchen, laundry room); where a light switch is far from an entryway (as on a stairwell); when going from dark room to dark room (a bathroom at night); or where users rarely think to turn the lights off (such as kids' play rooms!).

The Sound Sensor's highest setting detects a voice at 20 feet away; there are seven levels, including the lowest (off completely). The Motion Sensor detects "warm" infrared movement only. It also has seven levels of sensitivity.

Built-in timer turns the light off automatically after five minutes if neither sound nor motion sensitivity thresholds are crossed. Manual ON/OFF option. Seven-level dimmer function, too.

Yeah as long as I return everything back to normal before I leave they don't care. I can even paint my room as long as I repaint it back to white before leaving(they even gave me the color code for the paint they use)

basically they will let you do almost anything as long as when you move out it is back to normal. Example we are wiring our apt for networking and we are leaving it for the next tenants(all the wires at least along with the plates they are connected to) We ran all the wires along the base boards and under the carpet. We are then going to cut small strips out of the dry wall and then running the wires through the wall in areas where we cannopt run along the carpet. Then we are getting jacks and connecting the wiring to that. All this should take no more than 2 hours with a dremel then another 2 hours to patch up the dry wall and another 15-30 min to touch up the paint. Our cost is $10(all the wires and jacks are coming from my buddies IT dept(they are replacing a good majority of their Cat5 cable with Cat5e cables(don't know why) and are just tossing the Cat5 cable so they brought it home.) The jacks are surplus from them and we only need 4. The $10 is for paint(dry wall repair kit I alredy have from my moms house due to all the work we did there--I am good at repairing dry wall now hehehe)

Cool idea tell us how well it works after you have used it a couple days.

I am living at Camden Lakeview Apts in Irving.

http://www.camdenliving.com

go to apt search, click on DFW and then on #13

Mine is the bottom left room

Pic of our 3.5ft and 8ft pool

And actually this is our actual apt in this pic(it is the first floor one that is covered a little bit)

Has lots of good stuff--Sauna, Jacuzzi, 3 pools(only one is 8ft) Tennis courts, covered parking(paid for so it is reserved), private lake with BBQ grill and picnic table. gated access. What is kewl is Sauna, jacuzzi, pool and weight room are open 24/7.
