ive seen someone get those style off with a flathead and vice grips

That too. Or a chisel/flathead and a hammer.
once again, if they want to go through that 16 for my wheels, they can take them. [/b]
it took him ~ 5 minutes per wheel.. about as much time as it woudl take me with a regular \lug wrench

I seen a guy take a socket and hammer it onto the wheel locks. Than he just stuck a socket wrench on the socket and went to work.

i had the pleasure of trying to get mcgard's of my friends car. they guy he bought the car from lost the keys. anyway it took me about 10-15 mins each lock. that was using a large impact socket and a 5lb sledge. granted im not a pro at this but i found it to be a bitch to get them off. thank god there was only 4 on the car.

I am unsure of what kind they were, but I can say that they were rounded on the end with a key design in the center. They were a chromed hardened steel nothing real special.

The guy remove them because they came on the car he purchased. He didn't have the key or patients to wait on the previous owner. It did take a good 45 minutes to get the wheels off, but it showed me it was possible.

If you have an alarm than I wouldn't worry banging on the wheels is the fastest way to trip a motion sensor.
