Am I the only one that thinks that it is fucked up that when that tsunami hit those countrys that we really should give a fuck about, we jumped and gave them support and money and food, and etc, but now were in our time of need, and not much is being done. We are americans, we pay taxes, this is what our money should goto helping US. There are people stranded out there, starving... for fucks sake someone should be helping them. FUCK YOU GEORGE BUSH! I HATE YOU COCK SUCKER!

So because we are the most powerful nation in the world we shouldn't help those less fortunate? How the hell would a small 3rd worlkd nation help us in our current situation? They don't have jets or the ecnomical structure to help us in anyway, Also any help we would get would just cause more confusion then anything. If those people would stop acting like fucking animal the relief would be much further along then it is right now, Now you tell me this, If you wanted help? would you be shooting at the choppers trying to save your ass?

yep, George W. is directly resposible for Katrina. He owns the patent on a hurricane making machine.

And the real fact of life is that other countrys are only our allies because of what we can do for them, or could do to them, not because they like us.

The big problem is that congress was not in session. That's why it's taking so long, because the Pres. doesn't have full authority to just "fix" the problem.

Bush is NOT the only one involved in the decision making process.LOve it how if Anything goes wrong, just blame Bush? It is not that simple! It is easy to sit back and play armchair quarterback. Think about how much land area is devastated and how much of that area needs to be searched through now. It is not going to be fixed in a week or overnight. This will take lots of time and manpower, plus it is prob extremely difficult to get to some places. We only have soo many ppl(Nat'l gaurd, police, medics ect.) that can help and i am sure they are doing what they can with the vast amount of ppl that they need to treat, search for or whatever. |

lets put it this way, its not Bush's fault for this, but it does make him look bad when he says one thing and then does another. lets be honest, with the way things are going pretty much everywhere, america is on its way to another depression. e.g, oil prices are gonna break 70 dollar a barrel if they havent already, the interest rate just went up again, and were dumping money into other countries when we shouldnt be. im not saying dont give any money to anyone. but this pussy na na bullshit of are we in or out of iraq is getting old. now its time to make a choice, stay in and put all our chips in, or throw the cards away and try to cut what losses we have already made. now im not against the war at all, it needed to happen, and if there is a draft i will gladly fight for my country, but the fact that all these politicians are just talking and talking and talking and nothing is gettin done is bullshit. like i said in or out, cuz the longer we stay where we are right now the worse things are gonna get, aka more soldiers die, more money goes where it should, etc. more soldiers have died in the last couple of months when we have been doing this half pulling out half staying bullshit then when we were going full force. lets put it this way, there are a lot of ppl to blame for the way things are going these days, many of these ppl are republicans, but there are also things that we cant control that are really dicking us in the ass. aka katrina, it just came at prolly the worst possible time, and i dont mind paying extra for gas, as long as all that money is going to our ppl, not some foriegn country.
oh yea as for countrys not helping out, yes they should help, were not talking anything amazingl, but when it comes down to it, we do a lot for other countries, now they need to do something for us. france and great britain both are helping, those are the only two big ones that i saw, so atleast the french are complete assholes, but thier still pretty low on the list. |

good news is aid has come to new orleans today...at the same time a little too late as stated by our mayor earlier today in a recording i heard on c-span.
truth is there has been a whole lot of talking and no action...a lot of finger pointing etc etc...politicans knew about the problem of new orleans being flooded out if directly hit by a category 4 storm, and how weak our infrastructure was to this possibilty. no one dumped money into fixing this problem and look what happens... i remember watching a special when i was in my teens about this same situation. talking about if a serious hurricane was to hit new orleans water was predicted to be above 30 feeet high with the levees keeping it all in. people knew the vulnerability of new orleans for years and nothing was done. so there are more people to blame than you think. bottom line is forget whose to blame, cause this is just a NATURAL disaster. no person can create this. that is just the circumstances of living in tropical weather regions. lives need to be saved. and those bastards shooting and raping for no damn reason definitly need to get their's, so i hope whoever is the authority in the city takes care of them.
