Well, hopefully for those that are on this board, we all love Hondas (which is why we're here in the first place).

On a side note, I went to my local Honda dealer this weekend to pick up the '06 S2000 brochure, and what's sitting in the showroom?

Brand new Civic EX sedan. I gotta tell you, and I'm speaking from the heart here:

After seeing that sedan, and picking up the new Civic Coupe/SI brochure, I've fallen in love with the car all over again.

The brochure has a wicked pic of a black SI. My gizz bomb almost landed all over the crowd of people standing near me.
I agree with you. The new 8th gen Civics are awesome. I need to make a post on the front page about them... the engines that are coming in them are pretty sweet too! Have you seen the EPA mileage numbers that Honda is posting for the new Civic?! 30 in the city and 40 on the highway, even with the weight and power of the new car. I think that's pretty slick- that plus geometry that almost exactly matches the old GSR engine. There's going to be a lot of modding on the new platform.[/b]
You're certainly right with the mileage...forgot about that.

I'm looking forward to see how the aftermarket reacts to it. It'll be interesting.

I think the aftermarket for it will be very favorable. Hell, considering that the bore is the same as the B16/17/18 and the stroke almost identical to the B18C, it's very possible that existing B series pistons and rods might be able to drop right in!
