I remember years and years ago before the internet was around, my friend Gabe used to use a modem and talk to his dad that lived in some other country.
All of his conversations were somehow run via the computer and some sort of program so that he wouldn't have to pay for long distance calls. I was thinking again . . . I know . . pretty scary! ![]() I have road runner right now. The concept is that I can use my internet while someone is on the phone . . . Could I somehow use the computer to talk to someone on a phone while someone at my house is also on the phone? simotaniously? <--(sp) I feel like I'm rambling . . . are you following me? *use roadrunner to talk through the cable? (no phone fees?) I think that's what I'm asking, lol What do you think? And if it's possible, do I need to find some sort of program out there to do it? Lates. Sam - |

Already been done. It's called voice over IP. I think that there are websites out there that lets you make calls. Sorry I don't know any of the sites off the top of my head but I'm sure that you can find them.
