all runs performed with 93 octane gas.
started out with a simple run at 9lbs of boost. the numbers were like 250hp, maybe lower. i cant remember exactly. i had never been on a dyno before, so i didnt go full throttle and didnt rev it out. as the runs went on i got used to being on the dyno and we upped the boost in small increments. after letting the car cool down and upping the fuel pressure a tiny bit to be on the safe side, I cranked the boost to 20psi and this is what i made... keep in mind, that run was the last one. i had been on the dyno for an hour. so if i was to run that psi for my first run next time, i would prolly net numbers a bit higher. all in all, im happy. not 400hp, like i wanted, but damn fukkin close. Thats not bad at all. Close enough to 400. Ya sld be very happy with that..Wish minor tinkering sld break ya goal very easly. Nice power band by tha way. Congrats

Those are sick numbers, torque and hp production are near each other, it almost doesn't look like a Honda engine's power curve.

setup is as follows.... fully built engine: Pauter billet rods, SuperTech forged pistons(8.5 C/R, .020 over), polished crank, ferrea valve springs and retainers, arp head and main studs, cometic head gasket. turbonetics t3/t4 ball bearing turbo w/ 50 trim, stage 3 wheel and .63 a/r turbonetics deltagate wastegate greddy front mount intercooler and ETD racing exhaust manifold i might of been able to go a little further into the rpm band, but i wanted to play it safe |
