. the places that do have gas left at the normal price have lines out in the street. i almost got into a fight today cause some douch thought he could cut infront of me. he was close to catching a ass whooping kickboxing style . but we went to Sams and walmart and they had no water. but anyway water and gas r definitly hard to come by. everyone is in a panic and this is just a repeat of what happened to me earlier. well esta i hope everything goes smooth for you the only advice i can offer is to get all electronics you want to keep off the first floor onto the second or the attic.we may be leaving tomorrow and if we do i m goin to take pics of what is left of my house to show u guy what this shit can do. well thanks again guys Johnny |

well I'm the medical center here in Houston, which is about 45 minutes away from Galvestown.
Im at work, have been since 8am this morning, I snuck out to complete packing up my house (what i could pack up out of it) we got a notice of voluntary evacuation yesterday afternoon, so there wasnt much time for anything else to do. We live near Braeswood bayou which is known to flood frequently just not around here. however, since this seems to be a large mo'fo of a hurricane we were notifed of the voluntary evac. Gas: holy shit no gas around here, I filled up my car, the wifes and my moms car yesterday. There is almost noone left in the city and almost not a soul in my complex lol. My mom is sitting at my bros apt right above mine and is awaiting for me to get off at 8pm to take her to my uncles home in the nawf' side so if anyone has seen the news the drive will be fucktastic!!As far as my apt; packed as much as we could into an ambulace from the company my wife works for, shes a director os she got to take an ambulace home to keep it safely as the office is in a flood-prone area. I packed EVERYTHING i could then some, baby stuff, wife stuff, my computers are packed, my consoles are packed, dvd's, games, clothes, and there is a lot of stuff left (my 42' tv is still there and if it floods that sucker is GONE )People are really freaking out :\ , they are predicting 15,20,30 ft. storm surge, almost everything is closed, to find an atm with $ in it is like winning the lottery... At work, they are telling us that we are allowed to leave as long as we come back lol, all the garages are full, my 2 cars are in them. I plan on leaving, getting some beer after dropping my mom off and having possibly one last night with my couch and TV he he :P maybe my coworker will come by and kick it with me, since its close to work and all. But looking in the positive side of things, at least the wife is safe, with her pops and her stepmom, both are sheriff deputies, my baby is with her, my mom will be safe with my uncle, and my brother and i will be onsite at the hospital kicking it.. AND at least 85% of myhosue is already packed and ready to mnove into the new home lol!!! wish me luck! (needless to sy i might not be posting much in here, especially if the power goes out here in the Data center!) Pees! |
