OK well i think i spun a bearing in the LS, I have 4k to burn. I was looking into buying a competion rotating assemlby from eagles. Forged crank , H-beam rods and flot top pistons, with h-series bearings rings ect ect ect. I can get this for about 1200. Then get a new valve train, new fuel management system, bigger injectors the cost of the machine shop and tuning. After that i hould have enough money for some new wheels. Or i could just buy a GRS swap, Sell the LS shit as parts and just put new pistons in it with pumps ect ect. What would you guys do?

1.rebuild the motor you have, sell the greddy turbo kit, and buy a full-race kit.
2. sell your motor, the greddy kit, buy a gsr, and a full race kit. |

A k swap is a bit overpriced i think, but you could go to a junkyard, buyt a motor froma wrecked rsx-s and go to work on it.

Going NA isn't an option, Boost is all i want period. I can't afford to rebuild and buy a full race kit. Pulls i'm not looking for crzy numbers, The greddy kit will get me were i want to be 250 - 325 whp. I was thinking about slapping an SI head on the LS for the extra head flow. It would cost about the same to buy a vtec head, that i would to have my head rebuilt I don't know i'm going to wait until i tear my motor down to see what i'm going to do. But the money is in my hand. So i'm at least order some basic shit that i know i need. Like a pass side knuckle , driver side sun visor and other little shit.

if you want to keep your kit, and want those #'s sell your motor and go gsr then, and some good fuel management. thats the only way you'll get those #'s with that kit. im not saying the greddy kit is a bad kit by any means. i do like it. but it just doesnt put down the #s of say a drag kit, or full race. tegs, who isnt on here much anymore, had an ls turbo'd, and he was putting down 240, i think with a drag kit. if you did keep your motor, and go with rods, and pistons, you should b able to hit those kind of #s to. but since its your daily driver, id just go with a stock motor turbo'd.

Send the LS out for a nice set of sleeves, and bore to 84mm. Get the piston/rod combo of your choice. Get your crank balanced and micropolished. Assuming you have no (or minor) crank scoring, there's no need to get an aftermarket crank. But yea, since you already have a motor, you might as well get a 2 liter with better sleeves, instead of a stock b20. Figure you'll spend about 2 grand on the bottom end...then you'll have 2 grand to do as you please...and you can boost a lot on it. VTEC head? Better engine/fuel management? Better turbo kit? The kinda boost you're gonna have to run to make 300+ whp with the greddy kit is pretty high...I'd go with a larger turbo and different manifold. If you don't want to make crazy numbers, I'd just throw in a set of good rods/pistons, and slap on a GSR/B16 head and some turbo cams...and a JG intake manifold.

id put 4gs on the White Sox in 7. after they win collect your earnings than dump the honda, and go put some cash down on an evo. take the four g's you borrowed slap some basic bolt on's onto the evo and then you get much closer to your goal of 325 hp in a much more reliable car.
but thats what i would do.... ![]()
