I thought after our oficial entry into winter after the first snowfall (another one is scheduled for early tomorrow), I would share this interesting fact. I took an International Marketing class this semester and differing cultures was discussed in one chapter. it was mentioned that different cultures have differing preferences when it comes to A/C and heat in autos. I forget the exact country, but one place in Europe prefers the air to be directed evenly on the body, while in Japan, the preference is for the air to be directed only at the head. And this is why every winter, my feet freeze when I drive. Damn you Honda for not putting better floor vents in my Civic!
Just thought I'd share lol. |

I also disagree. More heat comes out of the floor vents than any other vent in my teg.

yea im gonna disagree too, my floor vents work great, infact the only setttings i use for the winter are the feet and defroster, and the defroster. thats it. and in the summer i just put it on the floor, and open the vents to outside air, and get a nice cool breeze on my feet.

ok well i aparently must be the only one with a retarded civic. my car heats up pretty quickly too, but it's all from the dashboard vents.

the only civic i ever had with bad heating in it was my 86 crx. it was horrible. i also had a 88 accord which was the same. my 5th and 6th gen though get so warm i have to usually turn it all the way off after about 10-20 minutes depending on how long i let it warm up.

haha yeah. the heat in my civic blazes. not to mention, they have that "feet only" vents button you can hit, and it all goes on your feet. i keep it on that, full blast..cause it keeps my toes warm and it filters upward too for a nice warmth everywhere else.
