Starting Over!

well yesterday was black firday at my job, America Cable Systems (ACS) and i was one of the three unloucky soals that got the boot. the company hasnt been doing so well over the last year or so and hasnt been making the profit their parent company wanted to. so they were finally forced to make cut backs. and of the course the easiest way to do this is to cut heads.

so im pretty much bummin right now. Everything was going pretty good there. We were busy as hell and they were finally giving me more responsibilty. I got an excellent review and 3.25% raise a month ago. But because i was the last one hired, i was the first one out.....again, lol. This was the second time the company has let me go like this. I should have learned my lesson the first time.

I first got the job in '99' while i was in high school. I was on Co-op and when i graduated they offered me a full time job. I stayed there until 2002 and got booted cuz of cutbacks, lol. I had a couple of jobs to pay bills and then started at Home Depot trying to get into kitchen design. I was there for a year when an opening came up at ACS. I went on an interview and of course got the job. I was exstatic. Now, almost 2 years after going back. I was once again the sacrificial lamb. I guess it was a chance i took going back. But i wasnt happy at home depot and it wasnt a carreer thing. plus ACS was offering me like $4.50 more an hour then home depot.

So now i gots to update my resume, and start throwing them out there. life sucks, lol

Cheer up man! Life is good. It's these small obstacles in life that will make you strong. When we're up we don't think it's enough, and when we're down we don't think we're able to come up again...but life goes on.
Be persistent and you'll see things will work out.

I got booted on friday also... The owner of my company decided to close my dept and now im not in telesales anymore... I didnt get fired but got a position in the dispatch dept until i can find something better. I applied to two jobs already since. Im gonna get out of that fucking place.

Applied for National Account Manager at a printing company in Manhattan.. id love to get it.

i FOUND a JOB!!!!!!

i start on monday at an engineering company called Building Engineering Resources.

i'll be doing HVAC design layouts for new buildings like hospitals, schools, ect.

im stoked. especially cuz i dont have to sell the 240sx. i was starting to get worried, lol.
