Well folks its getting to be that time... I got approved for my loan, got a couple grand saved and left a deposit on my a 06 Aspen White with Gold BBS STi.. Wont be too long again before i go get it.... I got it so far for $500 bucks above invoice.. and still trying to do a little better..... Someone on IWSTI gave me a Sales Managers phone number so that i can get a even cheaper price from a Dealer down in Tampa FL... Ill see how that pans out but it wont be long again

Im keeping the civic... Have not decided to sell it just yet... Still be the daily driver.

to the car payment. But as for premium gas, the "R" uses premium fuel anyway, right?
The Sti is cool, but just not my type of car. Only way i would get an Sti, is if it were a Ver.3 or so, one of the REAL, early ones.

Yeah the gas is killer by it's self, Well i guess it doesn't help that i'm only getting like15mpg right now

They payments are goin to be killer, with a purchase this but every point you can get your intrest rate down will be best. Getting it for only $500 over dealer cost is fuckin great, but if your intrest is going to be dick it would be better to pay a few grand more to drop some of those points. Just search around for the best rate you can get.

$500 dollars over invoice is not $500 over dealer cost and im positive of that. They can goto invoice or below and thats what im trying to make someone do but sales people arent budgin much...

With the options of Boost Gauge, Short Throw and Block heater best i could do was 32,756.

yes my payment will suck but i did pay down alot of debt before i got into this so i do have available money. I need to build a solid credit history anyway and this will help BIG TIME...

Gas is killer but its not my daily driver... im driving it mostly Friday Saturday and Sunday. M- thursday im driving the civic around..

Congrats on getting the deposit saved up and getting what you have been working for. Even though I am not a fan of Subaru, the STi is definitly an impressive car. Plus an extra $.20 / gallon will be a whopping 3 bucks more per fill up, so no big deal.

Thanks man

But whats odd is that it seems that people here dont care for either Subaru or the STi too much...

What seems to be the problem? Maybe because im on the Subaru Forums alot im missing something...

I think i might rather the Evo over the STi... But its even more expensive, alot people have them here, and Mitsu's reliability and warranty coverages worry me....Im not a rich guy by any means so i just dont have time for problems with a BRAND new car. STi just seems like a better deal to me.

once you feel the power in that Sti, you are going to want to drive it more than what you say you were going to drive it. I know I would!
