Most of you probably don't know who I am, but I still see some familier names. I am glad to see that Civicland is still alive. I was here back when it first started with Buck and Toxis. It has been a while. Civicland contributed to many a wasted hour at work hehehehe(I should really have a lot more post's but all the attacks and rebuilds killed that in the beginning)

So for those who do remember me, a little update

I am married now, since 11/5/05. Wife is wonderful, no new kids(have one from previous relationship)
I now drive a Toyota Matrix XR, but I still love Civic's.
Plans for the Matrix are many, but money is a factor that plays into that role(as well as the wife yelling at me not to buy stupid stuff for the car or something like that)
Still working for the same company that I was when I first joined Civicland. I am now a Team Leader for the Payoff Department.
Other than that, not much has really changed with me.

Now for those who do not know me and wonder why a guy driving a Toyora Matrix is posting on a Civic site.

I did not always drive a Matrix. My first car that I purchased all on my own was a 1998 Civic EX coupe. For the first two years the car was stock, then I found out about the import tuner world and all hell borke loose. Over the next two years and many thousands of dollars later my car went from the basic EX to a hybrid.

List of mods included:
B18C1 w/ LS tranny(blew the GSR tranny within two days of the swap), Clutch Masters Extreme Preasure Plate and Xtreme disc, NEX full coilover setup(fropped 3" front, 3.25" rear), Custom N1 Dunk exhaust(scrapped the existing 2.25" piping and when with 2.5" custom pipe to match the high flow Cat) Random Tech High flow CAT, SI gauge cluster, Type R strut tower brace, DC 4-1 Header, AEM CAI with bypass valve, Short throw shifter(can't remember the brand), 99-00 SI tail's.
There body mods made to the car.

There is not a day that goes by that I don't miss that car.

So that is my story. I wish I still had pictures of my car. My PC that I had pics on blew up and the hard drive was toast.

Oh there are always plans for another Civic. Just have to have the money. Plans right now are for the Matrix. I am only $600 away from the Supercharger(parts only) or I could spend another $400 and get a custom Turbo(which I would wait until March or April(depending on my Tax refund enxt year for). Thing is the Supercharger is TRD and would be covered under my extended warranty. Decisions decisions. Once I get that and installed which if nothing goes wrong should be by February 07(supercharger), I am saving up for TRD springs.

Dub, not much going on, just working and traveling. Going to Oklahoma next month, then Arkansas in November. Since I drive everywhere, I figured I would make it more fun on those long highway stretches.

thanks,

I am still tweaking it here and there and will start to work on the site some more. I will have some time to concentrate on CL and add some hacks and modifications as well. The forum is alot easier to read.

BTW the Civic is the Mugen CTR.
