God I miss this car. I found some pics on a zip disc of my old 97 Accord EX. This car was the guinea pig for all of my fabrication practice. This is what it looked like when I sold it. If you've ever owned an accord, you know it makes the civics' ride quality feel like a hamster wheel on rocks! But I sold this for just enough cash for a civic and a swap with bolt ons, so no complaints!

These are always my favorite pics, when the car is stripped down.

All of the dark areas were Duplicolor mirage paint. It would change from green>purple>black depending on the angle you saw it from.

Fiberglass kick panel w/o grille

This is some of my best work yet.

All of the white stuff was baked in the "car oven" at my uncles bodyshop. You'd pay hundreds for the amount of Sikkens clearcoat that I sprayed on these, but my uncle settles for a six pack of coors and I can use his shop all night.

YEAH..Accords def are a lot more comfortable than the civic.
The fabrication looks pretty good tho!
But just curious as to why ppl paint there interior pieces.IMO,looks tacky...also i think altezzas for the Accords have to be the nastiest altezzas made. Not a fan of the tezzas but the 4 piece accords have to be the ugliest.

It's okay he's been converted. Altezza's were cool at one point.

Nice job on the installs.

lol. what "rice" is now only became rice after F&F. if you think about it.. rice is everything that's in F&F. i.e. aluminum spoiler, tacky body kits & graphics, altezzas. i do like their 3 black eg coupes though.

anywho, that's some nice custom work. i agree..accords are MUCH spacier, but I think civic wins as far as looks. (i've had 4g accord coupe AND sedan before).

My dad has a 91 Accord. My sister had it for a couple of years and then gave it back to my dad when she bought her 03 Accord. IMO, out of the three, I'd rather keep my car, well my sister's car is def out of the question..it's automatic..d'oh. Anyway, the only thing the 91 has going for it is it's got a little bit more power. It's pretty much the same size as my civic, it's ugly. and it's got like 240k miles on it ( my dad swears that when he got it back from my sis last year and replaced the clutch, it was the original clutch)

Anyway minus the altezzas that is a nice looking Accord. That gen Accord is my fav.

Ain't that the truth! Yeah, I'm not a fan of altezzas since I started seeing them on minivans and shit. Waaaay to played out. And this car was a few years back, and I didn't know then that an H22 would fit at the time. But then again, it's a 4 door automatic, so I wasn't touchin it.

It was just so "lower-end classy". Like a poor mans lexus! I just wish I could have kept both.

There are no trunk shots either because I never finished the install, I ended up deciding to sell it before it was completed.

it doesn't look TOO bad. yea compared to cars now it's pretty boxy, but if you take all the other cars that were out in '91.. it looked pretty nice.

that's what i drove for a little under a year..

yes that is a rather large (not to mention loud) exhaust. that is why i opted for the twin loop for my car =D

not too bad, i enjoyed the extra room =P most of the work was done by my bro. even if your dad's car has a little more power, your civic has a lot of weight advantage =P.
