these are from last fall.. since then i have the stock rims back on, 99-00 red/clear tails, and greddy SP2 exhaust..
![]() ![]() ![]() you know, im not even sure i want to put the rims back on.. i dont think i like them anymore.. and i dont like my exhaust either.. 8k rpm's + no cat + freakin' folgers can outback = annoys the shit out of even me.. its been warm lately, and i can drive withi my windows open.. ive noticed myself pushing in the clutch just to avoid hearing my exhaust.. damn... that isnt cool. you know, i think im sick of my car.. ugh. i put a pic of an FD on the mirror in my bathroom.. i tell ya, its inspiration. i will have an RX7 before the end of next summer.. yes. oh shit, while im thinking of it. anyone around the cincinatti area that wants to get their ride dynoed. i will be traveling down there the last week of april. the more people we find the cheaper. as of now it is about 55 -60 bucks per person for i believe one dyno run. if we can get a few more people, it could go as low as 35$. just thought i would mention it. -Dane (EDIT 3-1-04) i took some more today. the car is in sleeper mode lately. though a decent amount of money has been put into this car, it remains a sleeper. interior is pretty much stock. ![]() except for the edelbrock short shifter. ![]() different tail lights and an exhaust nowdays. exhaust is the only cue that it isnt stock. ![]() ![]() ahh, and now the clincher. lol, i dont bother repairing body work. therefore, ppl think im just some half ass ricer with a loud muffler. ![]() ![]() its hard to tell, but the fender is bent to shit, and the bumper is half hanging off.. i love the hubcap! i dont care enough to replace it. there you have it, if i have some extra money laying around i would add some nitrous and call it a day.

you could get away without new rims, just lower that beast. that'll change it up a lil bit. maybe then you wont be sick of it.

lol yeah, i know it needs to be lowered.. but i dont know if i want to deal with it.. it ends up costing some cash. springs/shocks/camberkit = more than i want to spend. i think my clutch is about to fuck me.. so i prolly need a new one soon, and when i do that im gonna put a new flywheel on it.. other than that, the more stock it is, the more reliable right?

yeah, don't put any more $ into it if you are serious about the RX-7. sell the wheels and exhaust. it makes a great sleeper as is.
the last 6 months i had my civic i couldn't stand the exhaust or the way everything rattled. |
