Man your car is soo CLEAN!!!
Hood looks great! I would love to get one but do not want all the typical probs you get with a CF hood.Plus i DO NOT want to use hoodpins,i think they look trashy. So how does the hood fit and does it latch properly, all the lines match up?What kind of hood and where did you get it from? |

I bought the hood from www.jdmshit.com I am really happy with the fitment, it isn't perfect, but it is bettter than other carbon hoods out there. It does latch good and I am going to risk it and go without pins. When I talked to the guys that I bought the hood from, they said that even though they recommend pins, they don't use them on any of their vehicles and have had no problems.

i think you could just mount a 12" cable to the under side of the hood and attach the other end to somewhere around the radiator w/ a release. that way if it ever flew up it wouldn't restrict your view or crash into the window.

A properly built hood, Even if it its carbon fiber or fiber glass shouldn't need hood pins.. but they aren't going to be those ugly ass 300 dollar hoods on ebay..
This being said that looks like a really nice hood with a clean finish.
