First off, to whomever told us that performing a 2000 civic front end conversion on a 1996-1998 civic was easy is full of shit. This has been the hardest thing we have ever had to do ever. We started the day off all optimistic...until we had to taje the radiator support off and realized that it was FUCKING WELDED ON!! well the pics say the rest. Oh and yes thats ILLICON and his friend taking the shortblock out of CivicSIcks' sisters EX sedan. Here are the pics. This is about 13 hours of work today.

So far, Injuries include....

Me: Fucked my thumb up BAD cutting.
Jasper(CivicSIck):Fucked his finger up helping mike remove the head.
Dane(EG Drifter): Broke a hammer on his face..almost took his eye out, and seriously broke the teeth off the hammer....He is winning in first place right now. but we still have one more day to go haha, either way...I have to give props to Dane for learning how to use a grinder in less than 10 minutes, since he did most of the grinding/Sawzall-ing. So far we have everything cut off the car, and the hood, and JDM fenders are back on. tomorrow in the day light we are gonna do the rad. support, headlights, and whatever else i'm forgetting since i've been u[ and working for the past 15 hours. Questions, Comments? Oh some of the random pics are all the stuff that Jasper is selling, he is also parting out the sedan, if anyone wants anything let me or him know and we can pull it off for you,.

seriously, who ever said that the 99-00 front end conversion was "bolt on" and "easy" you lie

it took us about 12 hours just to take off the stock radiator support cleanly

anyways, halfway i lost faith and actually wanted to just screw the whole project and go back to 96-98 JDM instead, but Dx steered me into the right way. YAY!

tomorrow the rest of the parts will go on to complete my 99-00 front end, then a new paint job later the week and my rims will be installed on monday when my tires and honda center caps come in (LS rims).

we dub today the 25th... TUNER DAY!

Happy Tuner day yall!

haha yea, we actually didnt have any of those tools, Went to Home Depot, Grabbed the Ryobi Grinder for 20 and the Sawzall for 80, goggles, and 2 lemonades for only 98.00..... I think the lady at teh cash register fucked up, either way I just got tools for cheap and we started cutting away at those damn welds...We had to attack the shit with a hammer and chisel before we went ahead and started grinding. To all you welders/metal workers out there, goddamit I salute you, its hard as shit to work with metal.
