i started polishing my valve cover and intake mani like last summer and worked on it all winter. i spent numerous hours grinding down all the cast marks and bumps on the mani to get it smooth and sanded down the valve cover. after all that work, i got lazy and didnt want to finish. i couldnt take it anymore, lol. so i just bit the bullet and painted em.

I also grinded off the NISSAN 16V TWIN CAM lettering that was on the valve cover and got it silkky smoot. check it out and tell me what you think.

its painted "aluminum" with a gunmetal center.

i was gonna have it powdercoated with a cermakrome, but i didnt feel spending mad loot to get it done. i want to focus on getting the car running (no date yet). so i'd rather spend $10 bucks on hightemp paint then $150 on powder coating. thanks for the offer though.
