for those of you who were wondering, this is how the tint job turned out. i think it was worth the money to get that 3rd brake light covered.

this is what some punks did on friday 13th.

they got all the rear emblems too.. what pissed me off though were the deep scratches they put in the paint while getting the emblems off. i had to patch them up before it rusted. i got the red H to cover up some of the scratches too

That WAS a clean looking car! (no pun intended)
It looks alot better without the black flames though, lol
I hope that your insurance took care of that little mishap.
If they didn't, I'd somehow find out who did it and break some knee caps!
Later.

aaaghhh those lousy bastards!! yeah even if you got the paint off I'd still opt for the knee cap bustin option.

i think it's called "mineral spirit." it took 2 hours and 4 used socks to get it off. my arm was so sore afterwords :x. it didn't leave any blemishes on the paint, but i don't know if it would work for rims or other surfaces.. my neighbor's nice accord still has 1 black rim.

In your case, I guess you used the right thing. Mineral spirits would be my 1st bet as well.
As far as your neighbors rim is concerned, they could use "aircraft remover" very sparingly to remove any unwanted paint. I'd only resort to that if the rim dosn't have a finish on it such as a clear. The stripper could remove that as well.
Lates.
