While i'm driving home from picking up a friend after work i'm sitting at the corner of hwy 35 and deal rd. I'm just sitting at the light minding my own, the light turns green and pull off like normal when this brand new altima (still had temp plates) comes flying up the side of me looks over at me really hard then takes off. As we approch the next light with my turn i tell my friend that if i can get stopped right next to HER (it's a girl driving with a male in the pass side) at the light we are goingt o miss the turn because were goingot run. Well i get stopped right next to her and asked if she wanted to runs. She agrees. I'm sitting at the light 3 - 3.5K staging really slowly. Light turns green and i pull a 1/2 car from gate. (was a pretty good laund no tire spin no bog) while i hear her slam on the gass and get a little chirp. surprisingly she couldn't pull. She stayed that 1/2 to 3/4 car back until i shut it down at 85. It was great to know that a my old beat up civic could still hang with a brand new 2.5L nissan. Don't get me wrong i know my car is slow but i had her and she was trying.

Cliffs. 1.6L non-vtec whooped up on a brand new off the floor 2.5L altima

i personally was surprised. I thought she was gonna whoop up on me. It was really all about the launch. She stayed the same lenth behind me after 2nd. But if we kept goning instead of shutting down at 85 she would have cought up at like 90 95.

soccer mom cars need to mind their own or get the smack down haha . The way i see it id be unsure myself even with vtec because it doesnt help THAT much. But good shit for beating her. Serves her right for starting the drama. I actually havent raced my car all that much. I punch it but thats it. Everyone with Imports in Cali stay neutral and mind their own so I just do the same. kinda boring

She obviously flooded her engine....her shit was Auto so the slushbox was supposed to be power-braked @ least.

new or old....auto is auto.
