I have a 94 civic EX with some basic bolt ons... CAI and catback exhaust and what appears to be a Si rolls up next to me on the highway. He revs at me a couple times.. I look forward and theres traffic on the road but i decide to run him anyway.. We both punch it thru traffic and somehow or the other i end up slightly pulling away from him.. this was at 110mph BTW..

I knew The D16 isnt that bad from 60mph up However im sure if we raced from a light he would have handed my ass to me.

Good kill for me..I thought id be done.

My buddy Lester aka 95prelude just got an 02 civic si.
We ran him against a few other cars and this is how it went.
si vs. 02 neon 4dr: si by a fender
si stock vs si w/ cai and gredy exhaust (same year): modded si by 3/4 of a car
si vs my 92 cx hatchie with a full bodykit and very little tuning . . . . YEAH RIGHT! like I'm that stupid!

So . . with that said . . well . . I don't know! lol

Nice job man . . keep up the kills, lol

I did forget to add that racing thru traffic isnt too smart... legally also for safety, if you saw my accident pics even though it wasnt my fault you would understand what i mean. The site doesnt condone or support STREET racing but moreless for the track or a dead road. Maybe there could be an age gap between us and lessons learned but just a word of advice, think quick before you run.

for a visual check out my wreck pics if ya dont believe me.
a few posts down. Trust me you dont wanna risk ur ride for shit like this. http://www.civicland.com/forums/index.php?...ct=ST&f=18&t=34

I have to agree that racing through traffic is not that bright. Oh well, it was the spur of the moment thing.

ONe point for the d-series

One of my best friends has a 2000 Si. I haven't beat him yet... Wait till the turbo (evil grin). The Si is dangerous in 3rd gear, thats where he always pulls on me. Maybe I should start from about 60mph. We usually start around 35-40, depending on the road.
