I was looking on Summit Racing's website for wheel locks, and they returned 178 results to me. Gorilla, McGard, Mickey Thompson, just to name a few. McGard returned the most results, so I'm thinking they are the brand to go with.
But I have a few questions on how to choose the right set. For example: Wheel lock set, Bolt, M14 x 1.5, length 45.0mm, radius seat, 17mm hex is one McGard wheel lock set. I'm not quite sure what those numbers mean, and how I'll be able to decide which ones will fit on my car. I have a 1998 Honda Civic EX 2DR. A-Thank You ![]() |

Go with Gorilla. They're pretty much the best you can get, and they're some of the hardest to break through. The keys are so tough that you can use an impact wrench on them.

McGard uses a total smooth cylinder so any wrench or grips can't catch them to turn it, and every key has an individual star pattern that has over like 2 million patterns until the same one is reprinted. My .02cents from actual experience---> Go McGard. |

Hmmm. I've seen McGard's design, and I still don't like it... you can't get them off with a tuner lug wrench unless you have a really really big one and you're able to fit it in the tiny space between the nut and the wheel. They have a new version that's kinda like their old design but in a sleeve- it's even harder to crack.

Speaking for lug nuts, Were can i find black or gun metal tuner nuts, I stripped two of the nuts inner threads last year when taking the wheels off for the winter.
