I bought the whole master kit which was around 160, It comes with new front end bushings, Rear LCA bushings, Steering rack bushings, and sway bar bushings. Let me just say this. If you have 160 bucks and a hydraulic press, do this to your car, you will not regret it. Especially for you older civic guys, this makes a big difference on ride and handling.
It took me about 8 hours to do the whole thing, but I was side tracked by work and b/sing and having people help me along the way since I have never pushed out bushings and put new ones in. This isnt defently your everyday import tuner can do yourself. It takes skill or you could really f something up, like bend a control arm or something. But yeah put new bushings in and front lower ball joints and the car rides and handles superb! I would do a DIY but that is ALOT of stuff to write plus not everyone has access to a hydraulic press |

sound awesome, when I lower my car and put rims on I think I will get a set of those bushings to knock it all out at once.

Did you get the trailing arm bushings too? I don't think those come in the master kit... and they make a HUGE difference!

No not yet, that is gonna be a challenge, cause I dont even think we have anything to press out that bushing in my shop...
Do you know if the bushing is in a metal casing like the others? |

Richard, shit I should have checked into it before I did this, now i want nylon bushings lol. But I think that would be a little rough for me. Next im looking into a set of sway bars, I dont have ANY.
But today I had a chance to take the car out and go for a nice test drive on some wiggly roads, set my shocks to full hard, and wow does it handle nicely ![]() |

yeah there are three ways you can really get them out..
- If there isn't that metal casing around the bushing just burn them out.. - Have a machine shop make piece just a hair smaller then the metal caseing so that you can use it on a press to push old bushing through(what i did) -if there is a casing you can burn the bushing out and use an air hammer with a "muffler splitter" bit to push the casing out(done this before on a 4th gen hatch)
