I was wondering is it ok or safe to use 13in steelies for front tires on a 95 civic sedan. I have a chance to get a pair of spare tires in 13s for the front. I had a flat a few days ago and the driver tire is lil worn out and a guy is selling a 13s for cheap. I would be useing these just for the summer until i get my new rims. But there should no problems right??

The only prob i can see is to make sure that your brakes clear the 13's.

Depending on trim level,i know 13's won't clear EX brakes.

my trim is an LX. I beleive that the EX had ABS which would make them not clear. I dont have ABS so I think I should be fine. anyone disagree

All ex and si models have the 10.2 inch rotors up front which will not clear the 13's. I don't know for sure what the lx had, but usually when buying rotors it states that it is for dx/lx or ex/si, so I would guess that the lx and dx are the same, which means they are the 9" rotors and will definatly clear 13's.
