I have GSR fat fives on my hatch.Whn i apply the brake at speeds above 40mph,i get the shakes.the higher the speed the "shakier" they get.
I replaced the brakes spring of '03.I notice the shakes more with my inegra rims on,they do not do it anywheres near as bad when i have my stock 13's on. Any suggestions? |

Wheel balance is good.
Wold the rotors be warped already.I know that they are not the best ones which is one of the reasons i want to upgrade.Bur i do not want to get a big brake upgrade since i would like to use my stock steelies again. |

you can warp your rotors from tightening your lug nuts too far past the recommended torque specs.. and you can do it from just a few minutes of hard braking/driving. When your rotor gets real nice and hot.. and you clamp down on the brakes.. it can cause it to warp.. or else you just might have some uneven wear on the pads/rotors. Take them to a brake shop.. and have them checked. They can tell you if thats your problem.
